These diagrams can visually model the steps of a business process from end to end. Thus, ISO/IEC 19510:2013 creates a standardized bridge for the gap between the business process design and process implementation. In a nutshell, BPMN is a standardized flow chart method that allows you to create and share easy-to-understand diagrams. The primary goal of ISO/IEC 19510:2013 is to provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business users, from the business analysts that create the initial drafts of the processes, to the technical developers responsible for implementing the technology that will perform those processes, and finally, to the business people who will manage and monitor those processes. Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) version 2.0 is an Object Management Group (OMG) standard that defines various aspects of business process models including their representation in a graphical notation and a standard interchange format for such process models.
